Epic Sunday evening Wellington. Insane value for the quality and generosity of this sharing dish. Perfectly medium-rare and crispy roasties that are a delight. Precision cooking, refined technique and pitch perfect flavours. The wine by the glass is also at a very reasonable price and the Primitivo pairs perfectly with the Wellington. Lovely hosting, generous portions, insane value and refined quality. What's there not to like? Book.
It was my wife's birthday and she has some dietary requirements. I booked in for the seasonal midweek menu and put this information on the reservation. The team emailed me to confirm all received and were looking forward to seeing us. On the night it was amazing, the welcome was warm and humorous. The food was wonderful. The sole was divine. Perfectly cooked, served on vegetables, elegant and classic. I can't recommend Roots enough. The whole Team make your visit special.
